Jeffrey will be sending out preliminary tasks lists via email
Upon approval of the chapter, memberships must be purchased within the week.
Memberships of the board members will be purchased by the company (ACM Siggraph manila chapter) for them. Officers will have to purchase their memberships and this will be reimbursed by the company (ACM SMC).
Each officer is $20 around 860php
Each non student member is $42 around 1806php
Student members are $30 around 1290php

Jeffrey contacted Adan Ham and asked for tips in getting corporate sponsorships.
Adam tips on having a win win offer for both then sir eyed and ACM SMC
Mothership c/o Dave Yu will present a digital matte painting vfx pipeline breakdown at the first event.
Target audience will primarily be industry professionals and seniors graduating.
Secondary target audience willbe students.
Wacom is eyed as a sponsor and showcase a product demo in the digital matte painting by mothership.
ACM SMC Will ask Wacom for 4 Wacom products
2 will go to mothership
2 will go to the students c/o Zharina
Digital sculpting demo featuring Wacom products and the sculpted geometry will be 3d printed out as demo c/o Flash Forge
3d printer and filaments c/o flash forge
Dave Yu will contact black magic as potential sponsor for them to showcase their color correction, cameras and software package.
Jeffrey will contact Teddy Tiu, official representative of autodesk here in the Philippines.
Training programs related to autodesk products will be handled by the educational committee targeting professionals and a tailor down version ofwtjis will be for students.
Jeffrey is asking: what does csb/the school want in return for hosting the event?
Jeffrey: 3rd year students automatically come in for free
Jeffrey: we could have a sign up event demo for seniors - sample compositing (to be done by Jeff)
Dave: contact with the foundry along with black magic cameras as potential sponsors to the event. On a non- Siggraph matter, the foundry wants to talk to csb's deciding body to present their product as a possible teaching material for the school.
The event could be a vendor show case at the school.
Jeff: since icon manila is happening on June, the first ACM SMC event is targeted for July
Jeff: we are estimating that April-may we will get approval for the chapter.
Dave: talked to Joseph Cruel about Abs-cbn doing a news coverage for the event
Rani: we need a launching event before the first ACM SMC event in July.
Jeff: better we do the first ACM SMC event during a weekend
Dave: job fair and reel demo viewing could be included. Maybe do it on the second day of the event.
